Full disclosure first, not buried: this car only had visible damage of the front bumper and headlight area & was declared an insurance total loss - $12,900 in appraised damage (dealer disclosure, May 2026). Anyone who knows this business knows: a write-off where the damage never went past the bumper and a headlight is a unicorn.
It has been repaired since & its Ontario registration shows brand: NONE. I have timestamped photos from pickup day showing exactly that - plus the dealer's own ad photos - and I'll show you both when you come see it.
Check the odometer yourself: it's barely moved since pickup day, under 20 km.
Only 14,900 km/year average - driven less than the typical Canadian car.
What "total loss" actually means: insurers can write off a car when the repair estimate stops making financial sense against its value. A financial decision only - not a verdict on the car.
