A nice Subaru Outback H6 with a 3.0 liter engine. This engine has more power and at the same time is more reliable than the 2.5 liter engines. There is no timing belt, so you save money on maintenance.

This Subaru also has a 5-speed automatic transmission, unlike the 4-speed that comes with the 2.5 liter engines, so this car uses less gas when driving on the highway. 5-speed transmissions constantly send torque to all 4 wheels (like the Impreza STI or Subaru WRX with a manual transmission), while 4-speed transmissions only send torque to the front wheels unless the front wheels start to slip, so this car handles better on snow and ice.

High mileage, but mechanically the car is in very good condition - no oil leaks, no oil consumption at all, I haven't added oil between services. New battery, new rear brake pads.

Cons: Some paint scratches on the roof from rocks flying off the road, scratches on the bumpers
