Description
Was going to be a project truck, I am too old, injured and broke now. See a restored picture of the same truck, if this was the case. It was running when parked and moved a couple of times.

PLEASE if YOU are a SCRAPPER or some kind of MEAN CITY BY-LAW PERSON, go away and LEAVE us alone, we are old, trying our best and trying to desperately find a good home for our very long time truck, as WE are very sad and distraught.
Good for a sincere Ford enthusiast who wants a project or parts truck. If my acquaintance Rafael Malsiner from Dueck on Marine 2025 car show with the restored cream and blue F-250 finds his way to this posting he can have it for FREE.
Last year of the classic round headlights. Seat and tail and running lights in storage, but included. Has not driven for 25 years, but was running.
Was $1750 a few years back, but reduced to $1200 obo to move it; as we are being hounded and threatened.
Threatened by the City of Vancouver to the point of a Order for Home Invasion for having a now trapped old truck under Standards of Maintenance #5462 - Section 4.1(2) they edited out subsection (3) that we complained about this malfeasance. We challenged them on this point in a polite letter.
David Lam has not been the area inspector since 2022 and has gotten other types to initiate other types of complaints as well.
Now Orders from Kevin Lau city boss and David Lam property used inspector, are threatened with heavy fines in relation Parking By-law 6059 section 4.8.7 for a 1m setback from rear property line. This is after they conceded it could be parked anywhere on the property running or not.
I have the Orders to show to the non-believers, we need help to save the truck. I can't find that section number in the by-law, but it looks serious. Seems odd, a person can have a 6 foot fence right on a property line or something other like a boat.
P.S. The Ford 360/390 bad rap was a valve guide manufacturing issue that one would logically have fixed at an engine rebuilder when restoring. There are also aftermarket heads if one has the coin. Those that are interested in the head fix, I have details for this, for inquiring minds, NO NEED for a 460 or other motors!
The 604-450 phone Number is a numeric pager: Enter your phone number and press the # key, or email. We try our best to get back to you.

The left hand rear damage is from being clipped by a careless hit and run driver while parked.
* The box sides and fenders are solid, no rust through, the part of the centre of the box bottom is rusted through and needs replacement centre panel, as per typical certain parts of the cab need rust repair. ALL has had a preservation coating; not shown in the picture, including the rims, it is now covered with a tarp. The windshield, rear window, drivers side window needs replacement due to the Vandals. Certain parts in storage had to be removed to prevent the aforementioned. The window wipers were stolen.
* The motor is complete and all electrical is complete. All front end parts and steering;are like new and it drives true. 140 inch wheelbase 8 foot boxes are very hard to find 20 years ago I was offered $500.00 just for the box. Just the 4:10 Dana 70 Detroit Locker was valued by Bert's Automotive at $800.00; 20 years ago.
RARE 50 YEARS OLD, Limited production PU, configuration in 1976. It was the first year with shoulder belts, and the last year of the classic round headlight. (42,000 miles).
As of 08/76 there were only 4,615 of these made in this configuration (F354) in the year of 1976 as compared to the total production of Ford PU in 1976, as far as I can tell; I will update the facts if they are wrong. This aforementioned number might indicate all F350s, if the case, this would make this particular model within 1976 basically extinct.
42,804 Ford F-350 pickup trucks were produced as of 1976.
In 1976, Ford produced a total of 1,205,952 light-duty trucks, which includes various models like the F-100, F-150, F-250, and F-350.
Complete 1976 Ford 2wd, "Model Code F354", is called a "Contractors/Tow Special".
This F354 configuration is rarer than what they called a Super Camper Special that had the 460ci engine and exterior trim, fancy interior trim and the early air conditioning. Trucks like this, still in this stock configuration usually came with a chassis only and had dual tires, not with an extended wheelbase PU box with single heavy duty 12 and 14 ply split rim tires. Mostly the 354s were scrapped like most 50 year old trucks used as work trucks.
It has NOT been parted out, parts in storage.
Chassis and front end parts in A1 shape. Dana 70 Detroit Locker rear end. 4,10 gear ratio. Wheelbase 140in. Specs: Front 3700, Rear 5360, Body DU4, Transmission-G Axel-D7J, Color M, DOM 08/76, VIN F35YRD04615.
* FYI: From what I can tell, The motor is a 360, it is the same as the 390 motor, only the crank, push-rods and pistons are different, the 390 has a .29 inches longer stroke and shorter 390-428 rods.
* Some say the 360 has a higher torque; and the 390 has higher HP; both engines share the same bore size of 4.05 inches. It is likely the 360 is just good paired with the massive 4:10 Dana 70 with 3 x 12 inch drum brakes and massive front dual piston brake calipers paired with massive disk brakes similar to today's F450s and Super Duty Fords.
* The 390 option might have added too much additional maintenance for this extinct work truck as opposed to a car or a lighter duty truck.
