This came home last Saturday with rusted subframe broken at passenger side lower control arm. It has 101,140 km’s on it and it seems worth a subframe replace if the price is right. If I was in better health and didn’t have so much going on already I’d do the swap myself.
We’ve owned it since 2021 when we got it with 68,000 km’s. 2.4L engine and transmission run well and the only maintenance this car needed during this time was an accessory belt two summers ago and a set of front struts and 2 tie rod ends last fall. A new trunk latch button, mirror control and signal stalk (which we broke off by accident) Heat and A/C works fine. Oh, and the CD player is bricked but radio ok. The brakes have worked well the entire time but the rear drums will need a new set of shoes in the autumn. It has a new set of 4 Michelin snow grips on rims.
