Please read carefully. Mom bought it new. I inherited it when she died. I had an extensive inspection done before driving it here including timing belt. It then had an out of province inspection. Mom's depth perception wasn't great before she died, so there's a crack & scratch on the rear bumper. Otherwise, this car looks better, & is in better condition than alot of 5 year old cars. Pics may not show it, but even the interior is still practically new. It even has all the VW owners manuals. Car was just professionaly detailed, including the paint.
2.0 gas engine, 6 speed auto with sport shift feature. Power windows, locks, mirrors, hatch back release, tilt steering, heated seats- 5 settings. Cold a/c. Phenomenal fuel mileage. 6.1/100 on the whitemud- see pic.
79,300 original km's... yes you read that right !!! NOT 179,000 km like most vehicles at this price point.
Misc: battery, transmission serviced by Vw, hatchback struts, ball joint, oil changes every 5000 km. Good tires, brakes, etc. Every thing works. Have all paper work. Car is a joy to park at Costco, Walmart, etc.
Excellent for a new driver, a grocery getter, or even a commuter with its great fuel mileage. When was the last time you made a round trip to Calgary and back for $46 ? Something to consider, because we know the Liberals are bringing more carbon tax. As much as I loved my mom, looking at her car every day breaks my heart, so that's why I'm selling it.
