Camping setup in VW Routan (mechanically the same as a Chrysler caravan, so it is easy to service)
The bed frame can be fully removed, and the seats can be restored to operate as a 7-seater.
In setting the car up as a camper, I have improved the car mechanically and equipped it in the following ways.
Recent Mechanical Upgrades:
- New brakes
- New tyres - winter tyers
- New windshield wipers
- New lights
- Oil change done in April
- (Comes with spare wheel jack)
Included Camping Gear.
- Bed frame mattress
- Pillows, duvet, and sleeping bag
- 2x coolers
- 1x camping stove with cooking amenities
- 3x bear spray
- 1x camping chair
Extras:
- Parks Canada Discovery Pass (valid until April 2027)
NB: has an amber light on the dashboard. It drives as expected - I just took a 2000km road trip with no issues. Test drives welcome!
