2009 Honda CR-V EX-L

Selling my 2009 Honda CR-V AS-IS. The car runs and drives, and has been my daily driver on both local roads and highways since September 2025. It had extensive work done to it since I purchased it last year, in no particular order:

- All fluids drained and filled, and oil changed in July 2026 at Mr Lube
- Starter replaced March 13, 2026 at Active Green & Ross
- Muffler replaced in September 2025
- Brakes (Pads, rotors, calipers) serviced/replaced in September 2025 at around 292k km
- Aftermarket radio and mirror dashcam installed with custom wiring for a "backup camera" installed January 2026, original head unit will be included with its security code.
- Aftermarket OEM-style tailgate spoiler installed in July 2026
- Rustproofed at Krown in November 2026. Undercarriage only has fairly minor surface rust and likely has many years left.

There are issues with this car, PLEASE READ before reaching out:

- Likely needs a new engine, as there is a ticking noise. I've been told it is likely the timing chain, which has caused several misfire codes and loss of engine power.
- Idle seeking, likely related to the timing chain. O2 and knock sensors are no good and will likely need to be replaced with the engine.
- Airbag warning light is on. May be due to a bad clockspring.
- Power front driver's seat does not recline, or adjust up and down. It only moves forward and back.
- Various minor exterior scratches and wear as seen in the photos.

This would be a great parts car or project car, or a decent body for a new engine. Happy to provide the VIN and UVIP at your request.
