2008 Honda Civic

The car is in Morinville.
Two issues: The car has a coolant leak, and the air conditioning isn’t blowing cold.
I took it in to have the AC recharged but after a week it stopped blowing cold so there may be a leak there too.
I’m not sure where the coolant leak is coming from because I can’t see it, but I have been just adding coolant to the reservoir to keep it topped up.
It could possibly be a defective engine block that some Honda’s had.
Other than those two issues the car starts, runs, and drives excellent.
The body is in great condition for the year, and the doors, hood, trunk, fuel door all open and close properly. There is no severe corrosion but there are a few spots here and there. The headlight covers are foggy so they could use a buffing treatment to clear them up.
The brakes are good, the tires are new all weather, the suspension and steering is good, and the driveline and transmission is good with no issues. The exhaust system is good.
There are no safety issues with the car, and it can pass a safety inspection.
All the lights and controls work and there are no check engine light or other warning lights on the dash.
The car is clean, has no damage, and it is not rebuilt.
There are no electronic or electrical issues.
The original owner manual is included.
The spare tire, jack, and wrench that came with the car is still in place.
There is only one ignition key for the car.
The car was supposed to be for my kid who is getting his licence soon, but an unexpected personal expense occurred, so unfortunately, I need to sell it.
I paid 7300.00 for the car earlier this year and I know the car will need some repair for the leaks so that is why I’m selling it for 5000.00 OBO.
I bought the car not knowing it had these issues, and the previous owner did not disclose it.
I won’t do that to someone else, so that’s why I’m being honest about what’s wrong with the car. The car is all good except for the coolant leak and no air conditioning.
It may be a mechanic special or if you know a decent mechanic or repair facility, they may be able to troubleshoot the car, but otherwise the car is fine to drive if you just add coolant.
