2007 Volvo XC70 2.5T AWD

Runs and drives great. It starts right up, shifts smoothly, and tracks straight and tight on the road thanks to all the new suspension and steering work. A perfect winter car, with AWD and heated seats, plus cold A/C for the summer. The 2.5T engine is known for being bulletproof.

Features: full leather interior, AWD, power seats, heated seats, cruise control, ice-cold A/C, sunroof (not currently working).

Tires: Starfire all-seasons, with about 5 mm of tread left on all four.

Recent work (last 1.5 years):

Kingsbridge Service Station:

• Timing belt
• New brakes, rotors and calipers
• New right rear ABS sensor
• New turbo oil line
• New fuel filter and fuel rail pressure sensor

CNC Automotive:

• New rack and pinion

Lester's Lube:

• New O2 sensor
• New exhaust, corrosion-coated

Done myself:

• New coil pack and spark plugs
• New alternator
• New PCV hose
• New strut tower assemblies on all four corners
• New sway bar links all around
• Fresh oil and coolant change
• Brand new battery (Costco)

Also: all four wheel bearings replaced within the last 1–3 years.

Spare parts included: two front lower control arms and two rear trailing control arms, brand new from RockAuto. They're not needed yet but ready for when they are.

Bonus: a set of winter tires is included. I haven't checked their condition, so they're a throw-in.

Known issues: the hood release cable needs replacing. The hood catches on the first (safety) latch, so it can't fly up while driving, but it doesn't close fully flush on the second latch. That will need to be fixed to pass inspection.

For a 19-year-old car, she's in phenomenal shape, built in an era when Volvo quality really showed. Open to a pre-purchase inspection if desired. Sold as is. Serious inquiries only.
