Description

Looking to get rid of my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd with a V6 vortec. It was my daily and used primarily going back and forth to work up until last spring. Bought new truck and this one is just taking space in my driveway. It does need some work but would be a great project for someone who is mechanically inclined and willing to do the work themselves.

What I know it needs:

- New Battery
- Brakes and rotors in the front for sure passenger side is down to metal. Possibly needs rear brake shoes due to leaking axle seal on driver side
- rear axle seal
- front driver side wheel speed sensor loses signal and kicks on ABS at low speeds due to faulty sensor
- exhaust leak on passenger side, not sure if it’s manifold or exhaust flange gasket

Base model truck with fabric seats ( some tearing on driver side from getting in and out ) and vinyl floor. The roof liner is starting to sag and needs to be replaced or glued back up. There is a subwoofer in a ported box behind the seat and amplifier, sub worked great last time I used it however the CD deck quit working a couple years ago and I never replaced it. It also has Blizzak DM V2 winter tires mounted on steel rims tires are in good shape.

Had new 4L60E transmission supplied by NAPC installed July 27th 2019 at 156,200 KM

Like I said, truck would make a great project truck for someone experienced or someone just getting into automotive mechanics. My original plan was to keep the truck and do an LS swap but don’t have time for projects or space to store it.

Since the brakes are pretty bad I’m willing to pay the bill for a tow truck in town in Dawson Creek BC

Asking $2500 Cash or E-Transfer
