I'm transitioning into my late winter/spring/summer ride so this fantastic car won't be needed any longer. It's comfortable, fuel efficient, super safe with the All Wheel Drive, and still looks great. Maintenance is up to date with the timing belt/water pump done at 174000 km, so not due for about another 50k. The Blue is even a less common
and better looking colour, as the vast majority of A4's were grey, silver or black. Runs super smoothly and very easy to drive. I've also fixed many of the little (and bigger) issues typical of the B6 generation.
Recent Maintenance:
-Timing belt/water pump at 174K
-Passenger window regulator replaced
-Trunk release repaired
-Brand new radiator
-Front and rear brake pads 7K ago
-Center console lid replaced
-Half dozen new bulbs
(Yay no bulb out warnings!)
-Oil and filter 2K ago
- Alloy Spare with Brand new tire
Being a "not brand new" car, it still does have a few issues, none of which affected how it drives.
-There's some air in the cooling system from when I replaced the radiator. As such the heat is minimal until that gets cleared. The heater core flows fantastic so no worries there.
- Check engine light will come on intermittently for the catalytic converter. I was going to order a downpipe off ebay and get a stage 1 tune which would get rid of the error and add another 40 or so horsepower and 70 lb/ft torque. It doesn't affect driving or fuel economy that I've noticed.
I've also added a bluetooth dongle to allow phone music to come through the stock stereo, sounds pretty decent.
There is just a bit of rust, a bubble in the back behind the wheel well and a little in the door blades. Overall much less than typical for these cars. Paint is excellent except for a few scratches. Pictures show the condition very well. Glass is excellent with zero cracks.
Presently rolling on very nice 19" Rotor replicas sporting 225/40/19 Winter tires with another couple winters of tread left (well over 50%).
I'd be giving this car to my daughter if she ever bothered to get her license, but I'm sure someone can give it a good home.
I've priced it under market value, particularly with the wheels so the price is FIRM. I will not be accepting offers.
I will NOT be getting any of the scam "Vehicle reports" either.
