I’ve got a 1997 Dodge ram 1500 Laramie with the 5.9L I’m looking to sell as a whole unit. Pictures don’t lie, this truck has seen a few miles. 400k. Starts. Runs. Drives. Steers. Stops. Currently sask plated.
Pros and Cons…
Pros:
- Newer 31” Cooper AT tires on factory rims, less than a year on them.
- Good working 4x4, has been freshened up by the shop within the year (u-joints, grease, small things)
- Newer wheel bearings both sides
- Newer front suspension bushings upper and lower, stabilizer bar bushings, and other small front end work done
- Newer distributor, plugs, wires, and ignition coil
- Good passenger door
- Good glass except for front windshield
- Decent interior
- Clean frame
- Good front and rear axles, no leaks
- Good breaks
Cons:
- No exhaust
- Engine burns a bit of oil
- Cracked up front windshield
- Body is example of what 400,000km does to a sask truck. Rusty body panels.
- Drivers door latch is broken
Isn’t a pretty truck, but has been trusty for me. Solid drivetrain. Starts up no issues. Could be a great parts unit for the right person, or make it your farm rig. $2000 OBO. The new rubber, and good 4x4 drivetrain make it worth this. Text or call me at (639)994-9304 for more info.
