1979 GMC 3500 4-door 1-ton Camper Special with towing package, partially restored, with two bench seats and seating for six. I bought it for restoration but too busy now. The odometer reads 39,xxx but only shows five digits, so actual mileage is unknown.

The 1-ton Camper Special is pretty rare; not many were made in that configuration. It has a full 8-ft. box with lift off black grid tailgate.

It has BC registration, located in Kelowna. Factory 454 c.i. with 3-speed automatic, on propane with twin tanks and switches inside to switch tanks from the cab. It was professionally converted to propane with stickers in 1990.

The V-8 engine is running strong, with new ignition wiring, distributor rotor, cap, ect and the engine runs great.

The brakes are good, but the truck will need work done on the rear diff and U joints. I have a mechanic in Kelowna who can do the work and come to your house or shop to do so.

I will entertain offers now for it, or keep working on it and sell it for far more once I get it finished.

For sale for $6,900 or best offer. If someone wants to finish the project, come see it and make me a reasonable offer. It is drivable around Kelowna, but I would not take it out on the highway without repairing the rear diff first.

I will consider trades for a Suburban or other vehicle plus cash.
